The purpose of B.E.A.M.S. is to teach parents of children with developmental challenges the basic principles of behavior modification, and then to assist them in implementing a behavior intervention program for their child that will reduce undesirable behaviors and increase desirable behaviors. In addition to an initial assessment, B.E.A.M.S. will invite you to attend a six-week parent education class.

Along with providing parent education, B.E.A.M.S. sends its staff to your home to meet with you and your child on a regular basis, to assist you to implement your behavior plan. We are there to support you, to model appropriate skills, and to help you refine your plan as needed to achieve the success you want.

B.E.A.M.S. is a vendor (#PJ2085) of the Inland Regional Center, serving the San Bernardino and Riverside Counties (California). In addition to families referred by the Inland Regional Center, B.E.A.M.S. also accepts private and self referral clients who meet program requirements. Services are available in English and Spanish (the latter as staff are available).  B.E.A.M.S. is also funded , in part, by First 5 San Bernardino, The Weingart Foundation, Bank of America Charitable Foundation, and The Community Foundation, serving Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
